About Juan DeLeon

Juan DeLeon is an award-winning photographer, visual storyteller, and creative professional based in the Houston area. With more than two decades of experience behind the camera, he has built a reputation for capturing compelling moments in sports, portraiture, commercial photography, architecture, and fine art landscapes.

A lifelong passion for photography and athletics has allowed Juan to combine technical expertise with a unique ability to tell stories through imagery. His work has been published by Sports Illustrated, ESPN, The Wall Street Journal, Houston Chronicle, New York Post, AutoWeek, and numerous regional and national media outlets.

Juan currently serves as a photographer for the University of Houston, Houston Christian University, Rice University, and Texas Southern University. His collegiate photography experience includes coverage of NCAA athletics, conference championships, media days, and special events. He has also photographed events for the Big 12 Conference and Southland Conference, documenting some of the nation's top student-athletes and programs.

In professional sports, Juan has been a credentialed photographer covering Major League Baseball for more than 21 seasons, including extensive coverage of the Houston Astros. His portfolio also includes assignments involving the Houston Texans, professional boxing, collegiate championships, and national sporting events.

Beyond athletics, Juan works with businesses, schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations to create impactful visual content. His commercial and architectural photography has documented construction projects, educational facilities, houses of worship, community developments, and corporate environments throughout Texas.

Juan is also recognized for his portrait photography, creating senior portraits, executive headshots, family portraits, and custom creative sessions that blend artistic vision with authentic storytelling.
